Greta obtained her BM in Vocal Performance from The Hartt School of The University of Hartford, where she studied with Marjorie Melnick and Eric Trudel. Since graduating from Hartt, Greta has performed a variety of roles with opera companies in New England and the Midwest, including Arnalta in Claudio Monteverdi’s L’Incoronazione di Poppea with Haymarket Opera Company and Mercy Lewis in Robert Ward’s The Crucible with Hartford Opera Theater, among others. Greta has sung with the Choral Chameleon Ensemble and Chorus, CONCORA, The Composer's Choir, The New Haven Oratorio Choir, and C4. Additionally, she has been on the faculty at a number of educational institutions, including the Rubato Music School in New York City, the New City School of Music in New City, NY, and the Harrison School of Music in Harrison, NY. She’s currently part of the Marketing team for Carl Fischer Music and Theodore Presser Company. An active recitalist, she enjoys collaborating with musicians based in New York and New England on a variety of repertoire, particularly early and contemporary music. More recently, Greta began composing and recording her own works, links to which can be found in the Listen/Watch section of the site.
